  1. *** Adam's Icon Collection 98 ***

  3. This rather large collection contains over 1600 icons.  They are all
  4. contained in .ICL libraries, which you can rename to .DLL if you want to
  5. make it easier to get to them in the change icon dialogs.
  6.  
  7. Many of these icons were created by me, but quite a few have also come from
  8. other collections.  If any of these icons are copyrighted and you would
  9. like for me to remove them from the collection, please contact me and I will
  10. take them out right away.  Many of the icons are 256 color, meaning they
  11. won't look good if your display is set to 256 colors.  For proper viewing
  12. ofthese icons, your display must be set to either high or true color, and
  13. you must either have Microsoft Plus installed with the option to show icons
  14. using all possible colors or use the Microangelo color depth selector,
  15. available from my website.  A few of the icons (like the last 30 in
  16. Filetypes.icl in the Computer folder) look best when your icon size is set
  17. to 48.  However, most of the icons are not designed like this and look best
  18. at 32.

  20. This collection is not freeware (as much as I love free stuff :-) because
  21. of the huge amount of time it has taken me to create, edit, and organize
  22. these icons.  All I ask is $7 U.S. for all the time I've spent. Please
  23. don't use this collection without paying for it.  Payment will allow you to
  24. use this and later versions of the collection without further charge.
