- COME BETS:
- ==========
- As you know, PASS LINE bets can only be placed BEFORE a point is
- established by the shooter (when the button is OFF). No further
- PASS LINE bets can be placed after a point has been established,
- and there is never more than one point number active for all
- PASS LINE bets.
-
- What happens when you want to make a second PASS LINE bet or bet
- on a second point number? You can't do it with a PASS LINE bet
- but you can with a COME bet.
-
- COME bets are placed on the table in the large square just above
- the FIELD. The COME bet area is easy to spot by the large red
- letters spelling out the word "COME".
-
- COME BETS are identical to PASS LINE bets in every way except
- that they are only available for wagering while the button is ON
- (after a point is established). Another unique feature of COME
- bets is that you are allowed to wager more than one COME bet.
- COME bets allow for players to "come out" multiple times during
- a shooter's turn and, as a result, players can have multiple
- points "working" at any one time.
-
- COME bets are paid off at even-money just like PASS LINE bets
- and likewise, certain rolls on a COME bet are instant winners
- and losers:
-
- 1) If the initial roll is 7 or 11, you win (just like a PASS
- LINE bet).
-
- 2) If the roll is 2, 3, or 12, you lose the COME bet (just like
- with a PASS LINE bet).
-
- 3) If the roll is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, your COME bet chips are
- moved by the craps table dealer up to the number just rolled.
-
- If you place an additional COME bet before the next roll, the
- come-out process repeats and your chips are moved to another
- point number.
-
- NOTE: By moving your chips up to the number rolled, the casino
- can keep track of all the different COME bets that are working.
-
- Example #1:
- -----------
- PASS LINE bet of $10 is placed.
- The shooter rolls a 6.
- The button is turned ON and placed above the 6.
- You place a $15 COME bet.
- The shooter rolls a 7.
- You instantly win $15 on the COME bet!
- You place another $15 COME bet.
- The shooter rolls an 8.
- Your COME bet is moved to the 8 by the dealer.
- You place another COME bet of $20.
- The shooter rolls a 2.
- You instantly lose your COME bet of $20.
- You place another COME bet of $20.
- The shooter rolls a 9.
- Your COME bet is moved to the 9 by the dealer.
-
- At this point, you have three points "working": $10 on the 6,
- $15 on the 8, and $20 on the 9. Two of which are as a result of
- COME bets (8 and 9) and the other is for your PASS LINE bet (6).
-
- If a seven is then rolled, you would lose all three bets.
-
- However, if an 8 is rolled, you would win the COME bet on the 8.
- The dealer would hand you $30 which is the total of the original
- $15 bet and the $15 in winnings. If a 6 was rolled next, you
- would win on the PASS LINE bet of $10.
-
- Play continues until a seven is rolled which defeats all PASS
- LINE bets and COME bets or until all points have been rolled and
- you have collected all your winnings.
-
- Let's Review:
- -------------
- When betting the COME, you must bet at least the table minimum.
- This will be $1 or $5 at most craps tables. Look for a small
- sign on the table that tells you what the minimum and maximum
- bets are. If you don't see it, ask one of the craps table
- dealers.
-
- You are NEVER required to bet the COME and you may place
- successive COME bets roll after roll as you see fit.
-
- After you place a bet on the COME, you cannot remove it or
- change it until the shooter hits your point or throws a 7
- (crapping-out).
-
- Remember, COME bets can only be placed while the button marker
- reads ON. This means the point number has already been
- established by the shooter .
-
- COME BET WINNERS AND LOSERS:
- ============================
- 7: If you roll a 7 on your come-out roll, you automatically WIN
- your COME BET! You are paid even-money ($1 for every $1) on your
- COME BET. Remember, this roll is only a winner on the come-out
- roll and it is a loser after COME BET's point has been
- established (crapping out).
-
- 11: If you roll an 11 on your come-out roll, you automatically
- WIN your COME BET! You are paid even-money on your COME BET.
- After the point is established, this roll does not win nor lose
- for COME BETS.
-
- 2: If you roll a 2 on your come-out roll, you automatically LOSE
- your COME BET. After the COME BET point is established, this
- roll does not win nor lose for COME BETS.
-
- 3: If you roll a 3 on your come-out roll, you automatically LOSE
- your COME BET. After the COME BET point is established, this
- roll does not win or lose for COME BETS.
-
- 12: If you roll a 12 on your come-out roll, you automatically
- LOSE your COME BET. After the COME BET point is established,
- this roll does not win or lose for COME BETS.
-
- AFTER a COME BET point has been established, the only way to WIN
- is for the shooter to "hit your point" (roll your number) before
- rolling a 7 (craps).
-
- COME BET PAYOFFS:
- =================
- All COME BETS are paid even money. This means you receive $1 in
- winnings for every $1 bet. Example, if you bet $10 on the COME
- and you win, you will receive $10 in winnings. You will end up
- with $20 which represents your original $10 COME bet plus your
- $10 in winnings.
-
- MAKING A COME BET:
- ==================
- To place a bet on the COME BET with this game, left mouse click
- on the COME bet area of the table. The program will increase
- your COME bet by the currently selected chip denomination.
- Remember, COME bets can only be placed while the button marker
- reads ON. This means the PASS LINE point number has already been
- established.
-
- WHEN ARE THEY WORKING:
- ======================
- COME bets are always working. This means that come bets are
- never "OFF" for any roll including a new PASS LINE come-out
- roll. This is important to remember since you might be rooting
- for the shooter to roll a 7 on his next come-out roll so
- everyone betting on the PASS LINE would win. However, if a seven
- is rolled, all COME bets would lose.
-

- topic regarding CHANGING YOUR BET.
