- BETTING THE "11":
- =================
- Like the hardway bets, this bet should be avoided at all times.
- Once again, the casino payoff is lower than the true odds of
- winning on this bet, which results in a large advantage for the
- casino.
-
- This wager is a ONE-ROLL bet which means if an 11 does not occur
- on the very next roll of the dice, you lose. If an 11 occurs on
- the very next roll, you are paid a nice return: 14-to-1.
-
- Because this is a one-roll bet, the odds are much higher and so
- is the payoff for winning. As you will see in a moment, the
- casino's advantage over you is also much higher than other bets
- that can be made at the craps table.
-
- There are only two combinations of the dice that can rolled to
- equal 11: 6+5 and 5+6. Therefore, the true odds of rolling an 11
- on the very next roll is 17-to-1. (2 rolls out of 36 total
- combinations).
-
- However, you should note that most casinos only pay 15-for-1
- (14-to-1) for this bet. When this is the case, the casino's
- advantage is a terrible 16.67%. This is the worst bet on the
- craps table. Players who routinely make this bet will get
- "cleaned out" in no time at all.

- WHERE TO PLACE THE BET:
- =======================
- In the center of the table there is a special section for this
- one-roll bet. It's located just underneath the hardway bets and
- the 2, 3, and 12 bets. It is identified by the red "dice"
- printed on the table. Look for the pair of red "6" and "5" dice.
- There are two sets of dice printed in this section, both pairs
- of dice are used for this same bet. Printed just underneath each
- pair is the casino payoff of 15-for-1 (14-to-1). Please see the
- example above.
-
- To make a bet in the casino, place your chips in front of you on
- the table and call out your bet to the dealer. Example: "$10 on
- the 11". Sometimes you may hear a player say "yo" instead of
- "11". The slang term "yo" is just another way to say "11".
-
- Make sure you place the chips far enough out in front of you so
- the dealer can reach them. Be sure the dealer hears you and sees
- your chips on the table before the shooter rolls the dice.
-
- To make a bet for this computer game, use your mouse and click
- on the pair of dice that total 11.
