- ANY SEVEN BET:
- ==============
- Like the hardway bets, this bet should be avoided at all times.
- Like the other one-roll bets, the casino payoff is lower than
- the true odds of winning, which results in a large advantage for
- the casino.
-
- This wager is a ONE-ROLL bet, which means if a 7 does NOT occur
- on the very next roll of the dice, you lose. If a 7 occurs on
- the next roll, you are paid 4-to-1.
-
- Because this is a one-roll bet, the odds are much higher and so
- is the payoff for winning. As you will see in a moment, the
- casino's advantage over you is also higher than other bets that
- can be made at the crap table.
-
- There are six combinations of the dice that can be rolled to
- equal 7. Therefore, the true odds of rolling a 7 on the very
- next roll is 5-to-1. (6 rolls out of 36 total combinations).
- However, you should note that most casinos only pay 5-for-1
- (4-to-1) on this bet. When this is the case, the casino's
- advantage is an unbelievable 16.67%.
-
- Some players use this bet to "cover" their PLACE and COME bets
- in case a 7 is rolled. This is a foolish bet and should never be
- made. A COME bet will accomplish the same thing, persist for
- more than just the next roll, and allow you to place an
- advantageous ODDS bet on it as well.
-
- This is the worst bet on the craps table. Players who routinely
- make this bet will lose their rent money in record time.

- WHERE TO PLACE THE BET:
- =======================
- In the center of the table there is a special section for this
- one-roll bet. It's located just above the hardway bets. It is
- identified by the large red "SEVEN" printed on the table.
- Printed just underneath this word is the casino payoff of
- 5-for-1 (4-to-1). Please see the example above.
-
- To make a bet in the casino, place your chips in front of you on
- the table and call out your bet to the dealer. Example: "$10 on
- any 7". Make sure you place the chips far enough out in front of
- you so the dealer can reach them. Be sure the dealer hears you
- and sees your chips on the table before the shooter rolls the
- dice.
-
- To make a bet for this computer game, use your mouse and click
- on the area with the word "SEVEN" printed in red letters.
