  45. B. WHAT IS THE ATTUNE SYSTEM?

  48. Attune is designed to deliver important information to you 
  49. exactly at the moment you need it, based on your individual 
  50. computer configuration.
  51.  
  52. Attune accomplishes this through partnerships with companies that 
  53. create messages which will alert you to potential technical 
  54. problems or other useful information. These messages are 
  55. automatically downloaded to your computer each time you connect to 
  56. the Internet.

  58. If you are about to encounter a common situation that is known to 
  59. cause a problem, you will be notified before the problem occurs 
  60. and given instructions on how to avoid or correct it.

  64. C. MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  75. D. INSTALLING ATTUNE
  76. ====================================

  78. To install Attune from the CD:
  79.  
  80. 1. Place the Attune CD into your CD-ROM drive.
  81. 2. The Attune System installer will start automatically.
  82. 3. Follow the instructions in the installation dialog boxes.
  83.  
  84. The CD is designed to automatically start the installation when you
  85. place it in the drive. If the installation does not start within 30
  86. seconds, follow these steps to install the software.
  87.  
  88. 1. On your Windows desktop, double-click the My Computer icon.
  89. 2. Double-click the CD-ROM drive icon. (Note: this is usually drive
  90.    "D".)
  91. 3. Double-click the Setup.exe file to start the installation.
  92. 4. Follow the instructions in the installation dialog boxes.

  94. NOTE: If you received Attune by downloading it from a web site, and
  95. you wish to add another "relationship" to Attune, follow the steps
  96. in the next section.

  100. E. ADDING AN ATTUNE RELATIONSHIP 
  101. ====================================

  103. Attune was specially designed to enable companies to provide you 
  104. with information that helps you avoid technical problems on your 
  105. computer. These companies are known as Relationships.
  106.  
  107. To add a relationship to Attune:
  108.  
  109. 1. Go to the web site of the relationship you wish to add.
  110. 2. Download Attune.
  111. 3. After the download is complete, you will be guided through 
  112.    installing the new relationship. 
  113.  
  114. NOTE: Installing a relationship requires you to install Attune a 
  115. second time. During this process, however, Attune knows to only 
  116. add the new relationship.

  142. G. KNOWN ISSUES
  143. ====================================

  145.  - If you add a relationship, you will receive the Welcome 
  146.    Intelligram again.
  147.  - The Online Help topic, "How did Attune collect the information 
  148.    in my Relationship Settings?", refers to an Attune 
  149.    "questionnaire" that you may never see. You may only see this
  150.    questionnaire if you purchased your computer from a company that
  151.    had pre-installed Attune on the computer.
  152.  - For best results when using Attune, please set your computer 
  153.    display to Small Fonts by following these steps:
  154.     1. On your screen, click the Start button on the taskbar.
  155.     2. Point to Settings, then choose Control Panel.
  156.     3. Double-click the Display icon.
  157.     4. Click the Settings tab.
  158.     5. Under Font Size, select Small Fonts. (Note: you may have
  159.            to click the Advanced button to access this list.)
  160.     6. Click the OK button.

  185. 2. Point to Settings, then choose Control Panel.
  186. 3. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
  187. 4. In the list, select Attune, and then click the Add/Remove
