  15.     Bashir goes to a drawer and takes out a phaser.

  17.                     BASHIR
  18.             Why the same thing you want --
  19.             the cure to the disease.

  21.                     SLOAN
  22.             What are you talking about? You
  23.             already have the cure.
  24.                 (beat, realizing)
  25.             No, you don't. Your message to
  26.             Starfleet Medical... was just
  27.             bait.

  29.                     BASHIR
  30.             Which I'm happy to see that you
  31.             swallowed.

  33.                     SLOAN
  34.             So now you've got me. What good do
  35.             you think will come of this?
  36.             Turning me over to Starfleet
  37.             Security will be a waste of time.
  38.             You don't have a shred of evidence.

  40.                     BASHIR
  41.             I'm not interested in turning you
  42.             over to anyone.

  44.     He presses the control button on the nightstand
  45.     again, the FORCEFIELD FLASHES OFF, and then in the
  46.     next second, Bashir STUNS Sloan with the phaser.
  47.     Sloan slumps to the floor.

  49.                                     CUT TO:

  51. 11   INT. SCIENCE LAB (OPTICAL)

  53.     Where Sloan wakes up on a bio-bed. Bashir and
  54.     O'Brien are busily setting up several monitors and
  55.     other medical devices around the room. Sloan tries
  56.     to sit up, but another FORCEFIELD keeps him pinned
  57.     to the bed. The sound makes Bashir turn around.
