  10.     body. Ezri is nearby.

  12.                     BASHIR (O.S.)
  13.             You, behind the crates -- come
  14.             out. Now!

  16.     Quark and Rom look to Ezri, who calmly nods.

  18.                     EZRI
  19.             Do as he says.

  21. 23   WIDER

  23.     as Quark and the others step out from their cover.
  24.     They are met by Bashir and the N.D.s who keep their
  25.     weapons on them.

  27.                     BASHIR
  28.             Well, well... look who we have
  29.             here.

  31.                     QUARK
  32.             I'll bet you're surprised to see
  33.             us... but I can explain --

  35.     But Bashir doesn't seem interested in his
  36.     explanation. Instead, he strides up to Ezri.

  38.                     BASHIR
  39.             You worthless piece of space trash.

  41.     With the back of his hand he SLAPS her across the
  42.     face.

  44.                     QUARK
  45.                 (instinctively)
  46.             Leave her alone!

  48.     Quark makes a move towards Bashir but he doesn't get
  49.     very far before one of the REBELS knocks him over
  50.     the head with the butt of a phaser rifle. Quark is
  51.     out cold.
