  7.     the cleaned clams. He hands it to Sisko.

  9.                     JAKE 
  10.             Dad... how many clams do you 
  11.             think you've cleaned since we 
  12.             got here?
  13.  
  14.                     SISKO
  15.             A lot. This was going to be my 
  16.             last batch. But then I got to 
  17.             thinking that I'd take a couple 
  18.             of sacks on the runabout with me 
  19.             tomorrow... give me something to 
  20.             do on the way to Tyree.

  22.                     JAKE 
  23.             You're kidding, right?
  24.  
  25.     Sisko lets the doubt hang in the air for a beat.

  27.                     SISKO 
  28.             Jake... if I never see another 
  29.             clam again, it'll be too soon.

  31.     Jake smiles and EXITS back into the restaurant. 
  32.     Sisko is about to sit down and begin work, when 
  33.     something catches his attention off screen --

  37.     to see a man standing in the alley, half hidden in 
  38.     the shadows.

  43.     The man approaches cautiously, almost reverentially. 
  44.     As he steps into the light, we can see that he is a 
  45.     young, innocent-looking BAJORAN MALE wearing the 
  46.     simple robes of a penitent.
  47.  
  48.                     BAJORAN MAN 
  49.             Emissary... I've come a long way 
  50.             to see you.
  51.  
  52.     The man continues to approach.
  53.  
  54.                     BAJORAN MAN 
  55.             This is a sacred moment... one 
  56.             that will be long remembered.
