  17.             Hey, it's possible.
  18.                 (with great seriousness) 
  19.             Baby, I know we could make this 
  20.             work for us. We could be happy 
  21.             here. Besides, you don't have to 
  22.             give up writing altogether... 
  23.             maybe you could write something 
  24.             for the Amsterdam News or one of 
  25.             the other Negro newspapers.

  28.             I'm not a reporter. I write 
  29.             fiction -- and the Amsterdam News 
  30.             isn't going to publish stories 
  31.             about a space station four hundred 
  32.             years in the future.
