  8.             He lost an empire, he lost his 
  9.             daughter, and he nearly lost his 
  10.             mind. Whatever his crimes... 
  11.             isn't that enough punishment for 
  12.             one lifetime?
  13.  
  14. 4    NEW ANGLE
  15.  
  16.     Revealing GUL DUKAT in the cell. He's sitting on the 
  17.     deck, deep in meditation. His hair is longer and a 
  18.     little more unkempt than we've seen it before. There's 
  19.     a brief moment before Dukat seems to notice that 
  20.     there's someone watching him. He finally looks up and 
  21.     smiles.

  23.                     DUKAT 
  24.             I heard you were aboard. I 
  25.             wondered if you'd make an 
  26.             appearance.
  27.  
  28.                     SISKO
  29.             How are you?
  30.  
  31.                     DUKAT 
  32.             Better.
  33.  
  34.     Dukat gets off the floor and sits on the bunk. He's 
  35.     calm, rational, a little subdued. There's also a new 
  36.     aspect to Dukat's personality we're not used to 
  37.     seeing -- humility. Dukat seems like a great man 
  38.     brought low, but trying to retain whatever shreds of 
  39.     dignity he has left. Despite this, Sisko is still a 
  40.     little guarded.

  42.                     DUKAT
  43.                 (continuing) 
  44.             The doctors tell me I've made a 
  45.             remarkable recovery.
  46.  
  47.                     SISKO 
  48.             They told me the same thing.
  49.  
  50.                     DUKAT 
  51.             Good. I'd hate to think they were 
  52.             patronizing me.
  53.                 (beat) 
  54.             So... I'm a war criminal.
