  11.             the last one, hiding under his 
  12.             desk.

  14.     O'Brien and Nog exchange a look -- Garak's given away 
  15.     his position. Instantly, O'Brien starts racing down 
  16.     the corridor, Nog right behind him.

  18. 81   INT. EMPOK NOR - STATION COMMANDER'S OFFICE

  20.     Where Garak continues talking, adjusting the pieces.

  22.                     GARAK
  23.             I can't help thinking what a 
  24.             perfect metaphor this game is for 
  25.             our present situation. Two 
  26.             players. Two minds. Two 
  27.             strategies...

  29. 82   INT. EMPOK NOR - CORRIDOR

  31.     O'Brien and Nog racing down it, weapons in hand.

  33.                     GARAK'S COM VOICE 
  34.             Each trying to outmaneuver the 
  35.             other... testing the enemy's 
  36.             defenses... advancing... 
  37.             retreating...

  39.     They reach a junction. O'Brien gives Nog a signal, and 
  40.     they split off in two different directions.

  44. Garak continues:

  47.             The only difference is that in the 
  48.             game we're playing, the stakes are 
  49.             life and death... which makes it 
  50.             much more interesting.

  54.     Nog has his back against the bulkhead to one side of 
  55.     the closed door that leads to Ops. He's in position, 
  56.     his weapon ready, waiting for the signal from O'Brien.
