  6.     Deciding to investigate, Garak steps into the 
  7.     Infirmary.

  9. 30   INT. EMPOK NOR - SURGERY - CONTINUOUS 
  10.  
  11.     Garak steps toward the three chambers. Two of the lids 
  12.     on the chambers are open, the third is as we've always 
  13.     seen it -- shut.
  14.  
  15.     Garak steps up to one of the open chambers and looks in -- 
  16.     it's empty. Only a bed of the bluish, gel-like 
  17.     substance remains.
  18.  
  19.     He moves over to the closed chamber. It's dark inside. 
  20.     A fallen metal piece of bulkhead lies on top of the 
  21.     chamber, having shattered the glass which is completely 
  22.     fogged over, preventing Garak from seeing inside.
  23.  
  24.                     BOQ'TA
  25.                 (re: the chambers)
  26.             These look like stasis tubes...
  27.  
  28.     Garak removes the fallen piece of bulkhead, feels for 
  29.     a latch, finds it, and slowly opens the lid. Inside is 
  30.     the badly decomposed skeletal remains of a Cardassian 
  31.     soldier. Boq'ta scans the body with his tricorder.
  32.  
  33.                     BOQ'TA
  34.             Cardassian. He's been dead for
  35.             about a year...
  36.  
  37.     There's something amidst the remains that catches
  38.     Boq'ta's eye. He reaches in, and carefully picks up a 
  39.     military insignia and shows it to Garak.
  40.  
  41.                     GARAK
  42.             Interesting...
  43.  
  44.                     BOQ'TA
  45.             A regimental badge?
  46.  
  47.                     GARAK
  48.                 (nodding)
  49.             Third Battalion, First Order... if
  50.             I'm not mistaken.

  52.                     BOQ'TA
  53.             This'll make Pechetti's day.

  55.     But Garak is contemplating more important issues; he 
  56.     looks over at the two empty chambers.
