  10.     Quark is standing in the middle of the room listening 
  11.     intently to something off screen that our feeble "Hew-
  12.     mon" ears cannot hear. Then, having heard the 
  13.     approaching FOOTSTEPS he's been expecting, he places a 
  14.     phaser to his temple and assumes a tragic pose. Ishka 
  15.     ENTERS, and though she speaks to Quark, she appears to 
  16.     take no notice of the phaser.

  18.                     ISHKA 
  19.             I should start dinner. Zekkie'll 
  20.             be here any minute. What do you 
  21.             say to some nice slug steaks?
  22.  
  23.                     QUARK
  24.                 (still holding phaser to 
  25.                 his head) 
  26.             I'm not hungry.
  27.  
  28.     Finally, as she passes by Quark, she glances at the 
  29.     phaser.

  31.                     ISHKA 
  32.             Quark... the power cells are 
  33.             empty.
  34.  
  35.     With a frustrated SIGH, Quark lowers the weapon.

  37.                     QUARK
  38.             I must've been too depressed to 
  39.             notice.

  41.                     ISHKA
  42.                 (with genuine sympathy) 
  43.             It's the F.C.A. ban, isn't it?
  44.  
  45.                     QUARK
  46.                 (nodding) 
  47.             It's awful... you don't know what 
  48.             it's like to be denied the 
  49.             opportunity to earn profit.

  52.             Oh, yes I do. I know exactly what 
  53.             it's like.
