  10. 55   INT. BAJORAN RESISTANCE BASE - TRIAGE AREA

  12.     Kira's dozing, but she's startled awake by a loud cry 
  13.     from her father. He's delirious, rolling on the floor 
  14.     and groaning in pain.
  15.  
  16.                     KIRA
  17.             Father.
  18.  
  19.     Taban doesn't respond. He's in bad shape. And for 
  20.     that matter, so is Kira. She looks like she hasn't 
  21.     gotten a good night's sleep in days. Her eyes are red, 
  22.     her hair's disheveled... she's at the end of her rope.

  24.                     KIRA 
  25.             Father. Hold still. You'll tear 
  26.             the bandages.
  27.  
  28.     Taban opens his eyes.  He's having a hard time
  29.     focusing.
  30.  
  31.                     TABAN
  32.             My garden. They burned my garden.
  33.  
  34.     Kira knows that her father's losing it. Watching his 
  35.     physical and mental deterioration is killing her. When 
  36.     she answers her voice is hollow, drained of all 
  37.     emotion.
