  10.     It becomes clear we're looking at someone's P.O.V. of 
  11.     a Bajoran Resistance Base, at the height of the 
  12.     occupation. The base is a modified cavern, with 
  13.     different side chambers serving as impromptu weapons 
  14.     caches, barracks and field hospitals.
  15.  
  16. 17   CLOSE ON THE WOUNDED MAN
  17.  
  18.     As he is laid down on a bed. He's in his fifties, 
  19.     dressed in simple farmers' clothes, and there's a 
  20.     terrible phaser burn across his midsection.

  22.                     KIRA (O.S.)
  23.             Father?

  25.     The camera swings around and we realize that the P.O.V. 
  26.     we're seeing belongs to...

  30.     Looking much as she did in "NECESSARY EVIL" with her 
  31.     hair worn longer, and dressed in some kind of muted 
  32.     battle fatigues. Kira looks down at the Wounded Man, 
  33.     a look of panic on her face.

  36.             Father, can you hear me?

  38.     But the wounded man, KIRA TABAN, only thrashes around 
  39.     in agony, lost in his own pain, and suddenly, we...
