  10.     Ghemor is walking back and forth across the room, 
  11.     carrying KIRAYOSHI.

  13.                     GHEMOR
  14.                 (baby talk, to 
  15.                 Kirayoshi) 
  16.             What a beautiful baby you are. 
  17.             Yes.
  18.                 (to Kira) 
  19.             You must be very proud.
  20.  
  21.                     KIRA
  22.             He's Miles and Keiko's baby. I 
  23.             only carried him to term for them.
  24.  
  25.     Suddenly Ghemor stops in his tracks. He squeezes his 
  26.     eyes shut as he's hit by a wave of pain.

  28.                     GHEMOR
  29.                 (re: Kirayoshi) 
  30.             Maybe you'd better...

  32.     Kira carefully takes the baby away from Ghemor and puts 
  33.     him back in his bassinet. Ghemor sits down, still 
  34.     fighting the pain.

  36.                     KIRA

  39.                     GHEMOR 
  40.             It'll pass.
  41.  
  42.     Ghemor looks at Kirayoshi with a bittersweet 
  43.     expression.

  45.                     GHEMOR 
  46.             It's silly, but I almost feel like 
  47.             a grandfather. After all, you're 
  48.             the closest thing I have to a 
  49.             daughter...

  51.                     KIRA
  52.                 (smiles) 
  53.             And Yoshi is the closest thing I 
  54.             have to a son.
  55.                 (trying to make him feel

  59.     Ghemor tries to shake off his melancholy mood.
