  11.     They reach the airlock and wait for Ghemor.

  14.             It's a long story.

  17.             The Cardassians once kidnapped 
  18.             Kira and surgically altered her to 
  19.             look like Ghemor's missing 
  20.             daughter.

  22.     Worf looks puzzled.

  24.                     KIRA
  25.             It was part of a plan to expose 
  26.             him as the leader of the dissident 
  27.             movement.

  29.                     WORF
  30.                 (with disapproval) 
  31.             Cardassian politics are very... 
  32.             complex.

  34.                     DAX
  35.             I think they like it that way.

  37.                     KIRA
  38.             Ghemor may be the only hope left 
  39.             for Cardassia. He deserves our 
  40.             help.

  42.     Just then, Ghemor's Voice can be heard coming from the 
  43.     airlock.

  45.                     GHEMOR'S VOICE 
  46.             That's a lot of faith to put in 
  47.             one man.
  48.  
  49.     Kira and the others turn to see TEKENY GHEMOR emerging 
  50.     from the airlock, carrying a travel bag. Ghemor's an 
  51.     older, distinguished-looking Cardassian dressed in 
  52.     civilian clothes. He looks a little more frail than 
  53.     the last time we saw him (in "SECOND SKIN") but his 
  54.     face lights up when he sees Kira.
  55.  
  56.                     GHEMOR 
  57.             I hope I won't prove too great a 
  58.             disappointment.
