  17.     before, ENTERS from the bedroom.

  21.                 (after the CHIRP)

  24.                     COMPUTER VOICE 
  25.             Eighteen twenty-one hours.
  26.  
  27.     He crosses to the table and reaches into a SHOULDER BAG 
  28.     to pick out a small, pen-shaped WEAPON. He slips it 
  29.     into his sleeve and starts for the door. When it 
  30.     OPENS, two FINNEAN thugs, TRAIDY and SORM, are standing 
  31.     outside waiting for him.

  33.                     IDANIAN 
  34.             Can I help you?

  36.                     TRAIDY
  37.                 (pushing him inside)
  38.             I think so.

  40.     Sorm punches the Idanian in the stomach, knocking the 
  41.     wind out of him and sending him crumpling to the floor. 
  42.     As soon as the door shuts behind them, Sorm pulls a 
  43.     small SCANNER from his pocket, starts sweeping the 
  44.     room.
