  7. 30   INT. O'BRIEN'S QUARTERS - KIRA'S ROOM
  8.  
  9.     Continuous from Act Two. Kira listens for any more 
  10.     sounds coming from the living area -- nothing. She 
  11.     touches the control pad and the lights in her room go 
  12.     OUT... then she touches another control and the door 
  13.     OPENS. The living area is now DARK as well.
  14.  
  15. 31   INT. LIVING AREA
  16.  
  17.     As Kira peers around the corner of the doorframe into 
  18.     the dark room. She cautiously steps out into the 
  19.     living area, phaser at the ready, every sense straining 
  20.     for some sign of the intruder. She creeps out into the 
  21.     room, hugging the bulkhead to keep anyone from getting 
  22.     behind her...
  23.  
  24.     Suddenly a MAN'S SHAPE moves out of the shadows almost 
  25.     on top of her -- Kira whirls and points the phaser at
  26.     his head at the exact moment he points a weapon at her 
  27.     head.
  28.  
  29.             KIRA                FUREL
  30.         Don't move!            Hold it!
  31.  
  32.     There's a beat as both of them recognize the other's 
  33.     voice.
  34.  
  35.                     KIRA
  36.             Furel?
  37.  
  38.                     FUREL
  39.             Nerys?
  40.  
  41.     The lights in the room come ON, revealing FUREL is the 
  42.     man pointing a phaser at Kira with his one arm. He's 
  43.     one of Kira's former Resistance Cell comrades 
  44.     established in "Shakaar."
  45.  
  46.     LUPAZA -- also established in "Shakaar" -- is the one 
  47.     who turned on the lights. She's standing across the 
  48.     room with a phaser at Brilgar, who's kneeling on the 
  49.     floor next to her with his hands behind his head.
  50.  
  51.     There's a moment of relief as everyone relaxes.
  52.  
  53.                     KIRA
  54.             You're lucky I didn't shoot you.
