  12.             Bajor. He didn't complain of any 
  13.             new symptoms, but my scans still 
  14.             showed the same odd synaptic 
  15.             potentials. I was hoping the 
  16.             problem would cure itself by now.

  18.                     WHATLEY
  19.             But it hasn't. Isn't there 
  20.             something you can do to help?

  22.                     BASHIR
  23.                 (reluctant)
  24.             I could try neuro-polaric 
  25.             induction, but that's a very 
  26.             serious operation, and I'd rather 
  27.             not do it unless it's absolutely 
  28.             necessary.

  30.                     WHATLEY
  31.             So in the meantime, he's going to 
  32.             keep having...
  33.                 (skeptical)

  36.             I knew we were headed for trouble 
  37.             the minute he allowed the Bajorans 
  38.             to call him "Emissary."

  41.             He didn't have much choice. The 
  42.             Bajorans are deeply committed to 
  43.             their spirituality... not to 
  44.             mention incredibly stubborn. They 
  45.             believe Captain Sisko is the 
  46.             Emissary and nothing is going to 
  47.             change their minds.

  49.     The Admiral's attention is suddenly drawn to something 
  50.     occurring outside on the Promenade -- it's Sisko, a 
  51.     crowd of Bajorans flocked around him.
