  10.             like you have to protect the lives 
  11.             of your men... I have to protect 
  12.             our... property. 
  13.                 (sincerely)
  14.             But I do hope we can put that 
  15.             behind us and move on.

  17.                     SISKO
  18.             Move on to what?
  19.  
  20.     Kilana allows herself a smile, "grateful" Sisko is 
  21.     agreeing to get past her betrayal.

  23.                     KILANA
  24.             I'm sure it's obvious by now that 
  25.             there's something on the ship we 
  26.             want.
  27.  
  28.     Sisko eyes her without giving away anything.
  29.  
  30.                     KILANA
  31.             You allow me and my men to 
  32.             retrieve the item, and we'll 
  33.             leave.

  35.     Then the "gift," the piece de resistance.

  37.                     KILANA
  38.             You can keep the ship.
  39.  
  40.     But Sisko has a better idea:

  42.                     SISKO
  43.             How about this... you tell me what 
  44.             it is you want and I'll bring it 
  45.             out to you.

  47.     Kilana smiles, shakes her head. She acts as if she 
  48.     hadn't ever even considered that possibility...

  51.                     KILANA
  52.             I'm afraid I can't do that.

  54.                     SISKO
  55.             You don't trust me?

  57.                     KILANA
  58.             I'd like to, Captain. But I can't -- 
  59.             not under these circumstances... 
  60.             there's simply too much at stake 
  61.             for us.
