  8.     story of the battle.

  11.             Then I turned my attention to the 
  12.             Captain. A Benzenite named Laporin.

  14.     This name sparks a look of recognition from Sisko.

  16.                     BURLY KLINGON
  17.             He put up a valiant struggle. But 
  18.             in the end, I ripped the breathing 
  19.             tubes from his head and...
  20.  
  21.     Sisko's had enough of this. without warning, he lashes 
  22.     out and punches the Burly Klingon in the face, 
  23.     staggering him. Before he can recover, he finishes him 
  24.     off with a roundhouse kick to the chest.
  25.  
  26.     The Burly Klingon collapses to the ground.

  28.                     SISKO
  29.                 (to his audience)
  30.             Brag all you want, but don't get 
  31.             between me and the bloodwine.
  32.  
  33.     The other Klingons nod. That makes perfect sense to 
  34.     them. They step aside so Sisko can get more wine.

  36. 47   CLOSE ON SISKO AND HIS CREWMEMBERS

  38.     O'Brien can't help but question Sisko's action.

  40.                     O'BRIEN
  41.             You knew Captain Laporin.
  42.  
  43.                     SISKO
  44.                 (nods grimly)
  45.             We went to the Academy together.
  46.  
  47.     This has a sobering effect on everyone.

  49.                     ODO
  50.             How long until Gowron gets here?

  52.                     WORF
  53.             Many hours. I suspect he will not 
  54.             appear until tomorrow morning at 
  55.             the earliest.
  56.                 (explaining)
  57.             This is an endurance test as much 
  58.             as a party. It's part of the 
  59.             initiation rite for the Order of 
  60.             the Bat'leth. The idea is to eat, 
  61.             drink, stay awake all night and 
  62.             still be clear-eyed when Gowron 
  63.             arrives for the ceremony.
