  2.           DEEP SPACE NINE: "The Bar... " - 1/08/96 - TEASER           2.
  3.
  4. 2    CONTINUED:
  5.
  6.                     WORF
  7.                 (poker-faced)
  8.             It was... satisfactory.
  9.                 (to com)
  10.             Department heads prepare reports
  11.             for tomorrow's briefing. All
  12.             hands dismissed.
  13.
  14.     The N.D.s begin filing off the bridge. Only Dax and
  15.     Worf linger behind.
  16.
  17.                     DAX
  18.             I'd call that a successful
  19.             mission. Five days in the Gamma
  20.             Quadrant and no sign of the
  21.             Jem'Hadar.
  22.
  23.     Worf nods, but his mind is on other things.
  24.
  25.                     WORF
  26.             Commander, during our maneuvers
  27.             through that asteroid belt in the
  28.             Kar-telos system, I noticed the
  29.             Defiant felt a little... sluggish
  30.             when turning hard aport.
  31.
  32.                     DAX
  33.                 (nods)
  34.             The inertial dampening generators
  35.             may need realignment.
  36.
  37.                     WORF
  38.             I'll begin drawing up a schedule
  39.             immediately. And while we're at
  40.             it, we should also recalibrate the
  41.             targeting scanners and check the
  42.             EPS relays.
  43.
  44.                     DAX
  45.             O'Brien's going to be a little
  46.             disappointed. He thought he
  47.             finally had the ship running
  48.             smoothly.
  49.
  50.                     WORF
  51.             Chief O'Brien has done an
  52.             excellent job. This is a fine
  53.             ship.
  54.                 (a beat)
  55.             But, it is my duty to keep her
  56.             functioning at peak proficiency.
