  12.     Benteen looks at the PADD in Sisko's hand. She
  13.     suspects he might be up to something, but she's not
  14.     ready to challenge him yet.

  16.                     SISKO
  17.             Just cleaning out my files.
  18.                 (to Odo)
  19.             I'll see you later, Constable.
  20.  
  21.     Odo wants to stay in case Sisko needs help, but he
  22.     knows Sisko wants him to take care of Jake and Joseph.

  24.                     ODO
  25.             Good night, Captain.

  27.     Odo nods to Benteen and EXITS.

  29. 20   CLOSE ON BENTEEN AND SISKO

  31.     Alone in the office. Sisko decides to take this
  32.     opportunity to press Benteen a little... to show her a
  33.     few of his cards and see how she reacts.

  36.             I hear congratulations are in
  37.             order.

  39.     Benteen looks at him like she doesn't know what he's
  40.     talking about.

  42.                         SISKO
  43.                 (prompting)
  44.             Your promotion. Captain of the
  45.             Lakota.

  47.     Benteen smiles.

  49.                     BENTEEN
  50.             Thanks. But it's still a few days
  51.             away. The Lakota won't be done
  52.             with its refit until the
  53.             fourteenth.

  55.                     SISKO
  56.             I guess that'll make the
  57.             fourteenth a special day.
