  14.     of the "pinging" continues... the ship comes to a 
  15.     stop... and CAMERA PULLS back to REVEAL the source of 
  16.     the "pinging" SOUND...

  18.     Not the Defiant, but the atmospheric probe. . .hanging 
  19.     motionless in the atmosphere, a BLINKIE flashing in 
  20.     synch with the pinging. Defiant has set up a decoy...
  21.  
  22. 70   INT. DEFIANT - ENGINE ROOM

  24.     A tense beat, then...

  29.     Muniz and Stevens both reach to work their consoles...

  33.     The Jem'Hadar ship starts to bank away from the probe, 
  34.     but suddenly the Defiant ENTERS frame behind it and 
  35.     opens FIRE... a bolt of ENERGY shoots out from the 
  36.     deflector array and destroys the Jem'Hadar in a fiery 
  37.     EXPLOSION...

  41.     A moment of triumph between all the participants.
