  6.     He slaps the control panel and the bulkhead stops 
  7.     closing, leaving an opening just wide enough for a 
  8.     person to get through.
  9.  
  10.                     BASHIR
  11.             Hurry.
  12.  
  13.     She helps Muniz get out of the Jefferies Tube, but 
  14.     before they can move away the forcefield collapses. 
  15.     Dax and Muniz are hit by the full force of the 
  16.     pressurized gas, throwing them partway down the 
  17.     corridor toward Bashir. In a split second, the 
  18.     corridor is so filled with gas that it's impossible to 
  19.     see what happened to them.
  20.  
  21.     Bashir shouts through the opening in the door, into the 
  22.     rush of oncoming nitrogen streaming past him.
  23.  
  24.                     BASHIR
  25.             Jadzia!
  26.  
  27.     But if she responds, we don't hear it over the roar of 
  28.     the incoming gas.
  29.  
  30. 34   INT. DEFIANT - BRIDGE
  31.  
  32.                     KIRA
  33.             The forcefield is down.
  34.  
  35.     Sisko has no choice but to say the terrible words.

  37.                     SISKO
  38.                 (to com)
  39.             Doctor, close that bulkhead.
  40.  
  41.                     BASHIR'S COM VOICE
  42.             They're still in there.

  44.                     SISKO
  45.             Now, Doctor. That's an order.

  47. 35   INT. DEFIANT - CORRIDOR
  48.  
  49.     Bashir is holding himself in the doorway, nitrogen 
  50.     streaming past him. He screams against it, desperate.
  51.  
  52.                     BASHIR
  53.             Dax!
  54.  
  55.     Suddenly a hand reaches in from the roiling nitrogen: 
  56.     it's Muniz, and Bashir pulls him to safety. The young 
  57.     ensign is wracked with coughs from the poison gas.
