  11.     space, as seen before.

  15.             Activate the drone.

  17.     A WORMHOLE OPENS up as before.
  18.  
  19.                     BEJAL
  20.                 (off console) 
  21.             Wormhole neutrino readings... are 
  22.             stable.
  23.  
  24.                     DAX
  25.                 (off console) 
  26.             Subspace field stress is up by 
  27.             fifteen percent... but still 
  28.             within safety margins.

  30.                     WORF 
  31.             Launch the probe.
  32.  
  33. 45   EXT. SPACE - THE DEFIANT & WORMHOLE (OPTICAL) 
  34.  
  35.     The Defiant LAUNCHES A PROBE, which flies out and 
  36.     ENTERS the wormhole. As soon as the probe goes inside, 
  37.     the wormhole suddenly COLLAPSES and sends out a huge 
  38.     blast of ENERGY which slams into the Defiant.

  40. 46   INT. DEFIANT - BRIDGE 
  41.  
  42.     The ship is ROCKED violently and a few consoles explode 
  43.     in the aft area. POWER GOES OUT.

  49.             No helm control... there's a hull 
  50.             breach on Deck Five... emergency 
  51.             forcefields are in place.
  52.
