  13.     O'BRIEN and EDDINGTON are listening to Bejal describe 
  14.     the modifications that will need to be made to some of 
  15.     the Defiant's systems. Dax, Pren, and Lenara are 
  16.     nearby, and two N.D. Starfleet Engineers are also 
  17.     listening.

  20.             After we launch our target drone,  
  21.             the Defiant will have to generate  
  22.             a subspace tensor matrix in the  
  23.             twenty-five to thirty thousand  
  24.             Cochrane range. Then the drone  
  25.             will send out a magneton pulse  
  26.             which should react with the matrix  
  27.             and create an opening in the space- 
  28.             time continuum.

  30.                     EDDINGTON  
  31.             How long will we have to keep  
  32.             generating the matrix?

  34.                     PREN  
  35.             Two minutes, maybe less. Once the  
  36.             wormhole forms, we can shut down  
  37.             the tensor matrix.

  39.     O'Brien thinks about this for a moment.

  42.             We'll need to reroute the pre- 
  43.             ignition plasma from the impulse  
  44.             deck down to the auxiliary intake  
  45.             to get that much power...
