  7.             Tube grubs, extra juicy, just the 
  8.             way you like them.

  10.     Quark watches as Rom ladles the grubs from the bowl onto 
  11.     three plates.  Rom realizes that Quark has made no move toward 
  12.     the table.

  14.                     ROM
  15.             What's wrong, Brother?  Aren't you 
  16.             hungry?
  17.  
  18.                     QUARK
  19.             What are you doing?
  20.  
  21.                     ROM
  22.             Serving dinner.
  23.  
  24.                     QUARK
  25.             That's mother's job.
  26.  
  27.                     ROM
  28.             She's not feeling well.
  29.  
  30.                     QUARK
  31.             Not feeling well?  Wait a minute, 
  32.             that's not bad.  We could say she's 
  33.             having emotional problems.  We might 
  34.             even be able to get the F.C.A. to 
  35.             drop the charges in light of her 
  36.             illness.
  37.  
  38.                     ROM
  39.             Actually, all she has is a slight 
  40.             rash.  Her skin's still a little 
  41.             sensitive to clothing.
  42.  
  43.                     QUARK
  44.             That's hardly an excuse not to serve 
  45.             her sons dinner.
  46.  
  47.     Quark looks at the plate of food.
  48.  
  49.                     QUARK
  50.             Look at this... she hasn't even 
  51.             softened these grubs for us.
  52.  
  53.                     ROM
  54.             You know Moogie.  She never liked to 
  55.             chew our food for us.
  56.  
  57.                     QUARK
  58.                 (bitterly)
  59.             Not even when we were children.
  60.
