  18.     We pick them up in mid-conversation as Garak is leisurely 
  19.     expounding on some theory of his.  Bashir is wolfing his 
  20.     lunch down as if he's in a hurry.

  22.                     GARAK
  23.             -- Doctor, I just don't see the value 
  24.             in this man's work.
  25.  
  26.                     BASHIR
  27.             Garak, Shakespeare is one of the 
  28.             giants of human literature.

  30.                     GARAK
  31.             I knew Brutus was going to kill Caesar 
  32.             in the first act, but Caesar doesn't 
  33.             figure it out until the knife is in 
  34.             his back...

  36.                     BASHIR
  37.             That's why it's a tragedy.  Caesar 
  38.             couldn't conceive that his best friend 
  39.             would plot his murder.

  41.     As Garak continues, Bashir continues to eat heartily.

  44.             Tragedy is not the word I would use, 
  45.             farce would be more appropriate.  
  46.             Supposedly, this man is the leader 
  47.             of an entire empire, a brilliant 
  48.             military tactician, yet he can't see 
  49.             what's going on under his very nose --

  51.     Garak stops himself, no longer able to ignore the fact that 
  52.     Bashir is eating so fast.
