  8.     As he rushes over and bangs on the doors.

  10.                     BASHIR

  13.     Bashir cocks back his hand to bang on the door again, and 
  14.     suddenly...

  16.                                     CUT TO:

  18. 31   INT. PROMENADE
  19.  
  20.     Bashir is now standing in the middle of the Promenade, holding 
  21.     a tennis racket.  He looks up and sees that a net has been 
  22.     strung across the Promenade and Garak is standing on the 
  23.     other side of the net, also holding a racket.

  25.                     GARAK
  26.             Ready, Doctor?
  27.  
  28.     Garak serves.  They begin to play.

  30.                     BASHIR
  31.             How did I get here?
  32.  
  33.                     GARAK
  34.             Don't ask me.  After all, we're in 
  35.             your mind.
  36.                 (as they volley)
  37.             It's a shame about Lieutenant Dax.

  39.                     BASHIR
  40.             How'd you know about that?

  42.                     GARAK
  43.             I'm part of you, remember?  I know 
  44.             what you know.  Maybe even a little
