  15.     slightly under their relentless stares.  Sisko, Kira, Odo, 
  16.     and Two N.D. Security Guards ENTER.

  19.             Quark, you can leave.

  21.     Quark jumps at the chance.

  26.     He EXITS.  Sisko turns to the two Romulans.

  29.             I know you have a cloaked warbird 
  30.             orbiting the station.  And I know 
  31.             you're planning an attack.
  32.  
  33.     The Romulans play it cool and betray no reaction.

  37.             At first, I couldn't understand why.  
  38.             Then I remembered what you said about 
  39.             the Dominion... how they were the 
  40.             "greatest threat to the Alpha Quadrant 
  41.             in the last century."  If you really 
  42.             believed that, then the only way you 
  43.             could ever be truly safe from the 
  44.             Dominion would be to collapse the 
  45.             Wormhole.

  48.             But you knew we wouldn't just sit by 
  49.             and watch while you did it... so you 
  50.             had to destroy the station, as well.  
  51.             That way, there would be no witnesses.

  54.             Everyone would assume that Deep Space 
  55.             Nine was destroyed by what appeared 
  56.             to be "the accidental collapse of 
  57.             the Wormhole."
