  12.     Kira takes that in for a moment... it's a difficult statement 
  13.     to hear from someone you love.  Winn steps forward.

  17.             Vedek... do you remember the 
  18.             negotiations?  I have some questions 
  19.             for you.

  21.     Bareil turns away from Kira to think about this and in that 
  22.     moment it's as if Bareil has forgotten that Kira even exists.  
  23.     He drops her hand and completely focuses on Winn.

  25.                     BAREIL
  26.                 (smiles)
  27.             Of course, I do Eminence.  The 
  28.             negotiations.  A giant puzzle that 
  29.             needs to be solved.

  31.     Everyone exchanges a look at this.

  33.                     KIRA
  34.             It's a little more important than a 
  35.             puzzle.

  37.     Winn sits down on the bed next to him.

  40.                 (smiles)
  41.             If the Vedek chooses to look at the 
  42.             talks as a puzzle, then so be it.  
  43.             All that's important is that he helps 
  44.             me solve the puzzle.

  47.             I'll do all I can.

  49.     Kira gives Bashir a stricken look... she doesn't know what 
  50.     to say or do... and then she EXITS.  Bashir watches Winn 
  51.     begin to call up information on the PADD she's carrying.  
  52.     OFF his face as he looks at what's become of his patient...
