  11.             called Vasokin -- that would increase 
  12.             the blood flow to your organs and 
  13.             might allow you to function normally 
  14.             for a while.  But there's a great 
  15.             deal of risk associated with it.

  18.             What sort of risk?

  20.                     BASHIR
  21.             In twenty-two percent of the cases 
  22.             on record, Vasokin has severely 
  23.             damaged the patient's heart, lungs, 
  24.             and kidneys... sometimes the brain.  
  25.             In your condition, it could even be 
  26.             fatal.

  29.             But it would allow me to function 
  30.             normally for the next few days?

  33.             Yes.  But are those few days worth 
  34.             risking your life?

  37.             I have no great desire to die, Doctor.  
  38.             But I am determined to carry out the 
  39.             will of the Prophets as long as I'm 
  40.             able... and I can't carry out their 
  41.             will if I'm lying unconscious in a 
  42.             stasis tube.
