  10.     on a possible way to retrieve Sisko, Dax, and Bashir.

  13.             So in theory, we should be able to 
  14.             travel into the past by focusing the 
  15.             transporter beam through the polarized 
  16.             chroniton particles.

  18.                     O'BRIEN
  19.             The problem is, we don't know where 
  20.             in time Sisko and the others are.  
  21.             I've narrowed it down to a dozen 
  22.             different possibilities.  But we 
  23.             only have enough polarized chronitons 
  24.             to make five or six attempts.

  26.                     KIRA
  27.             We'll have to take our chances.  
  28.             Pick the most likely time periods 
  29.             and send a team down with tricorders 
  30.             to find them.

  33.             of volunteers crazy enough to risk 
  34.             getting lost in time to do the job.

  46.     Bashir's asleep on the sidewalk, huddled up against the wall.  
  47.     Sisko gently shakes his shoulder and wakes him up.

  49.     Bashir gets up with a groan.  His muscles are sore from 
  50.     sleeping on the concrete.  Both of them look like they could 
  51.     use a shave, a shower, and a clean uniform.
