  6.     Sisko and Dax both notice the look between Riker and Kira 
  7.     and then exchange a look of their own.
  8.  
  9.                     RIKER
  10.                 (to Sisko & Dax)
  11.             Well.  I better get out of your way 
  12.             and let you get back to work.
  13.                 (beat)
  14.             I hope I see you all again soon.
  15.  
  16.     As he says these last words, his eye falls again on Kira and 
  17.     she returns the look.  Riker EXITS and Sisko heads back to 
  18.     his office.  Dax moves off and Kira seems to go back to 
  19.     work... but she looks up and we can see that she's still 
  20.     thinking about Riker.

  22.                                     CUT TO:

  24. 7    EXT. SPACE - DEEP SPACE NINE (OPTICAL)

  26.     Establishing the station.
  27.  
  28. 8    INT. PROMENADE - SECOND LEVEL
  29.  
  30.     Riker is loitering near one of the shops... he keeps glancing 
  31.     around the corner of the shop down the Promenade, then ducking 
  32.     back... he finally sees something and reacts.  He takes a 
  33.     few steps backward behind the corner... waits... and then 
  34.     walks casually around the bend as if just coming out of the 
  35.     shop.  He nearly runs right into Kira, who is coming the 
  36.     opposite way down the Promenade.

  38.                     RIKER
  39.             Oops.  Sorry about that.
  40.  
  41.                     KIRA
  42.             It's all right.
  43.  
  44.                     RIKER
  45.             My mind was a million light years 
  46.             away.  Should've been paying attention 
  47.             to where I was going.
  48.  
  49.     Kira smiles at him... there's an awkward beat... then Kira 
  50.     glances at the shop Riker just came out of.
  51.  
  52.                     KIRA
  53.             So... doing some shopping?
