  8.             Spread out... but remember, no one 
  9.             fires until I give the command or 
  10.             until the boy fires first.

  12.     The Guards draw their weapons and spread out, taking up 
  13.     defensive positions that will provide them with some cover.  
  14.     After a beat, Odo and the Teenager round the corner and come 
  15.     down the Corridor toward them.  The Teenager takes note of 
  16.     the Guards and where they are, but continues walking.  He 
  17.     and Odo stop in front of Sisko.

  19.                     SISKO
  20.                 (to Teenager)
  21.             This is as far as you go.
  22.  
  23.     The Boy turns and looks to Odo with an expectant look.  Odo 
  24.     steps forward.
  25.  
  26.                     ODO
  27.             Let us go, Commander.  I'm leaving 
  28.             of my own accord.  I'm going to take 
  29.             the boy back to his people... and 
  30.             then I'll return with the runabout.
  31.  
  32.     Sisko looks at Odo... can see there's been a change in him.  
  33.     Odo takes another step toward Sisko... his voice becomes 
  34.     quieter.
  35.  
  36.                     ODO
  37.                 (continuing)
  38.             If he gets on the Constellation when 
  39.             it arrives, he'll either kill a lot 
  40.             of innocent people or be killed 
  41.             himself.

  43.     Sisko thinks about this for a beat.

  45.                     SISKO
  46.             What makes you think he'll let you 
  47.             come back?

  49.                     ODO
  50.             I don't think he could injure a 
  51.             changeling.

  53.     The boy drops his eyes in silent acknowledgement of this and 
  54.     Odo turns back to Sisko.  Sisko considers this, then makes 
  55.     his decision.
