  21.     O'Brien bends down and opens up a slightly burnt and twisted 
  22.     case, revealing a RACK OF LIQUID CONTAINERS and TUBING inside.  
  23.     Odo peers at the containers closely.

  26.             We tried to run an analysis, but the 
  27.             computer couldn't make heads or tails 
  28.             of it.
  29.                 (beat)
  30.             Do you really think this is the drug 
  31.             the boy's addicted to?

  34.             It seems logical that the Founders 
  35.             would've kept a supply of the enzyme 
  36.             aboard his ship.  Hopefully Doctor 
  37.             Bashir can determine if this is it.

  40.             I still don't understand why they 
  41.             would engineer someone to be addicted 
  42.             to a certain chemical.

  44.     Odo picks up the rack and stands up.

  47.             I suspect it's another way of insuring 
  48.             the loyalty of the Jem'Hadar to the 
  49.             Founders.  If your soldiers are 
  50.             addicted to a drug that can't be 
  51.             replicated and only you can provide, 
  52.             that gives you a great deal of control 
  53.             over them.
