  7.     returns the look.  Jake begins to feel very uncomfortable 
  8.     and looks for some way to move the conversation along.

  11.             Did I mention that Mardah's... quite 
  12.             a writer?
  13.  
  14.                     SISKO
  15.             Really?

  17.                     JAKE
  18.             Yeah... Mrs. O'Brien used to say 
  19.             that Mardah should try to get some of 
  20.             her stories published.

  22.     Mardah actually looks a little embarrassed at this... it's a 
  23.     genuine feeling and for the first time at dinner, we can see 
  24.     some of the innocent quality she has within.

  27.             Jake... they aren't that good.  
  28.             Nothing like your poetry.

  31.             You don't have enough faith in 
  32.             yourself...
