  4. 3    EXT. SPACE - DEEP SPACE NINE (OPTICAL)

  6.     The stations tractor beams pull in the damaged Cardassian 
  7.     ship.
  8.  
  9. 4    INT. CARGO BAY SEVEN
  10.  
  11.     Sisko and O'BRIEN wait as the airlock door rolls back.  
  12.     Two young Cardassians step out.  They're dressed in civilian 
  13.     clothes and look nervous and a little scared.  The male, 
  14.     HOGUE, is wide-eyed and innocent.  The female, REKELEN, is 
  15.     edgy and hyperactive.
  16.  
  17.     After they survey the scene, a statuesque, striking (for a 
  18.     Cardassian) female steps out.  This is NATIMA LANG.  She is 
  19.     older and much more composed than her two compatriots.  She 
  20.     measures Sisko and O'Brien with a long look.
  21.  
  22.                     SISKO
  23.             I'm Benjamin Sisko, commander of 
  24.             Deep Space Nine.
  25.                 (indicating O'Brien)
  26.             My chief of operations, Miles O'Brien.
  27.                 (concerned)
  28.             Do any of you need medical assistance?
  29.  
  30.                     NATIMA
  31.             I think we're all in good shape, 
  32.             considering.  I'm Professor Natima 
  33.             Lang.
  34.                 (indicates the other 
  35.                 Cardassians)
  36.             These are two of my students, Rekelen 
  37.             and Hogue.
  38.  
  39.                     O'BRIEN
  40.             What happened to your ship?
  41.  
  42.                     NATIMA
  43.             We were caught in a meteor swarm.  
  44.             I'm a decent teacher, but I'm afraid 
  45.             I'm not much of a shuttle pilot.
  46.                 (to O'Brien)
  47.             Do you think you'll be able to repair 
  48.             our ship?
  49.  
  50.                     O'BRIEN
  51.             I'll have to take a look.  Excuse 
  52.             me.

  54.     He enters the airlock and disappears.
