  12.     There's a sound from surgery... Bashir reacts, moves into...

  14. 49   INT. SURGERY

  16.     The room is dark and Bashir doesn't turn on the lights as he 
  17.     ENTERS.  Mora and Weld are both in bed asleep.  He looks 
  18.     around doesn't see anything unusual...

  20. 50   ANGLE - HIS BACK TO THE VENTILATION SHAFT

  23.             as he wonders to himself what the 
  24.             noise might have been, we see a vague 
  25.             figure drop silently from the ceiling 
  26.             behind him... Bashir doesn't react...

  28. 50A  ANGLE - NEAR MORA'S BED

  30.     as Bashir relaxes, takes the opportunity to check the medical 
  31.     monitors... and this all happens extraordinarily fast -- 
  32.     suddenly a tentacle wraps around his neck from behind like a 
  33.     whip and pulls him...

  35. 50B  ANGLE

  37.     as Bashir is pulled down sharply by the unseen creature... 
  38.     crashing into a medical supply table... which falls over...

  42.     open... reacting to the noise... just getting his bearings...
