  4. Directory Master is a Windows 3.1 application to help you manage your
  5. disks and directories. Displays TWO directories for full interaction
  6. between them. Twenty-one built-in commands including copy, move,
  7. rename, delete, search, make dir, attribute, read, find file. Launch
  8. other DOS or Windows programs on selected files. Up to 72 user
  9. configurable buttons allow fine control of how other applications
  10. are launched. Full context-sensitive help. If you use disks this
  11. utility is a MUST!!

  14. Installation Instructions:

  16. This is a shareware version of Directory Master. To conserve space and
  17. avoid needless duplication and added download time, VBRUN300.DLL is
  18. NOT included with this distribution package. VBRUN300.DLL should be
  19. available from the vendor or BBS where you obtained Directory Master.
  20. I've also eliminated the installation program from this shareware
  21. version.

  23. Installation is easy, only a few files to copy.

  25. The following files should be found after extracting from the archive:

  29.     DIRMASTR.INI    Configuration file
  30.     DMDOS.BAT        DOS batch file used by Directory Master
  31.     DISKINFO.DLL    System file
  32.     MSAFINX.DLL        System file
  33.     COMMDLG.DLL        System file
  34.     CMDIALOG.VBX    System file
  35.     THREED.VBX        System file
  36.     README.TXT        Intro information
  37.     VENDOR.TXT        Vendor Information
  38.     LICENSE.TXT        Licensing and Warranty information

  40. 1. Copy all .VBX and .DLL files into your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
  41.    Also, make sure the file VBRUN300.DLL (not included) is present in
  42.    the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

  44. 2. Copy the .INI file into your C:\WINDOWS directory.
  45.  
  46. 3. Copy all .EXE, .HLP, and .BAT files into a directory of your choice,
  47.    preferably something like C:\DIRMASTR. These files MUST all be in the
  48.    same directory for things to work properly.

  50. 4. Once properly installed, create an icon for Directory Master in any
  51.    program manager group and double click on it.

  54. You are granted a 30 day evaluation period for this program.  After that
  55. you are required to register or stop using Directory Master. See the
  56. file LICENSE.TXT or the online help for instructions on how to register.
  57. Registration is $25.
