  3. *    Installation procedure for ARIS EDIT Lite for Windows (Shareware)        *
  4. *                                                                             *

  7. For faster download we omitted the SETUP program that performs the installation
  8. in this shareware version of ARIS EDIT Lite. Please follow the instructions 
  9. below:
  10.  
  11. 1. Create a new subdirectory C:\AELITE (you may however use any other drive
  12.    and/or subdirectory name)
  13. 2. Copy the following files to this new subdirectory:
  14.    - AEW.EXE
  15.    - AELITE.HLP
  16.    - AELITE.WRI
  17.    - REGISTER.WRI
  18. 3. Copy the file AELITE.INI to your windows directory (mostly C:\WINDOWS)
  19. 4. Copy the following files to your windows system directory
  20.    (mostly C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM):
  21.    - MSDNTB.DLL        (check for file dates if this file already exists)
  22.    - CTL3D.DLL        (if this file already exists you do not need to copy
  23.                 this file; however, if you receive garbled output in
  24.                 some dialog boxes (for example: Workset->New workset")
  25.                 you should use the supplied CTL3D.DLL instead of the
  26.                 already present file)
  27.    - COMMDLG.DLL    (For Windows version 3.1 or higher you must not copy
  28.                 this file)
  29. 5. Create a new group in your Windows Program Manager (e.g. "ARIS EDIT Lite")
  30. 6. Create new program entries for the following files in the AELITE 
  31.    subdirectory:
  32.    - AEW.EXE        (The program file)
  33.    - WRITE AELITE.WRI    (Documentation in Windows Write format)
  34.    - WRITE REGISTER.WRI    (Registration information for ARIS EDIT Lite)
