  5.   USING THE UN-INSTALLATION PROGRAM: UNINSTAL.EXE

  8. The easiest way to un-install WizManager is to use the
  9. un-install program provided with the REGISTERED version of
  10. WizManager. Make sure that File Manager is not running
  11. (WizManager is not loaded) when you launch UNINSTAL.EXE.
  12. UNINSTAL.EXE is available on WizManager's installation
  13. disk (disk 2 for 5 1/4" disks).

  17.   MANUALLY UN-INSTALL WIZMANAGER
  18. ***************************************************************

  20. To un-install WizManager manually  you must erase or suspend
  21. the WizManager specific information in the WINFILE.INI file
  22. (not WIN.INI!) and, if desired, delete all of the WizManager
  23. files.

  25. 1. WINFILE.INI
  26.  
  27. Edit the WINFILE.INI file with notepad.exe or any other text
  28. editor (not a word processor, unless you know how to save the
  29. modified file as a text file). WINFILE.INI should be in your
  30. Windows directory.

  32. Look for the [AddOns] section and either:
  33.  
  34.   - Delete the entry (entire line) which starts with
  35.     WizManager=(...)WIZMGR.DLL, where (...) is the path to
  36.     WIZMGR.DLL.
  37.  
  38.     or
  39.  
  40.   - Add a ';' (without the quotes) at the beginning of the
  41.     entry WizManager=(...)WIZMGR.DLL. Adding a ';' makes the
  42.     line a comment and is therefore discarded by File
  43.     Manager. Choosing this method to un-install WizManager
  44.     leaves you the option to have WizManager back at any time
  45.     by simply removing the ';' at the beginning of the entry.

  48. 2. DELETION OF WIZMANAGER FILES
  49.  
  50. If you choose to completely remove WizManager, your second step
  51. is to erase all the WizManager files in the directory where
  52. WizManager is installed. You can look up in WINFILE.INI what
  53. WizManager's path is under the [WizManager] section in the
  54. WizManagerPath entry.

  80. Another WizManager file has been installed during the
  81. installation process in your Windows directory. You can delete
  82. it as well:

  87. If you wish to have WizManager again available and running,
  88. remove the ';' you placed in the WINFILE.INI (if you opted for
  89. this route) or re-install WizManager using the installation
  90. program (INSTALL.EXE) provided with WizManager.
