  10.      Fractint to POV-Ray reads a specified parameter set 
  11. from a Fractint parameter file and performs the required 
  12. rotation and scaling in order to reproduce the identical 
  13. image in POV-Ray with the 'mandel' pigment specification. 
  14. This allows one to map a fractal Mandelbrot image onto an 
  15. object in POV-Ray without using an image_map of a gif. The 
  16. original Fractint Mandelbrot can be unevenly scaled, rotated 
  17. and skewed ( non-perpendicular edges ) and FRCT2POV will 
  18. still be able to convert it. FRCT2POV will also attempt to 
  19. convert the Fractint color map into a POV-Ray compatible 
  20. 'color_map'.
