  1.                         RADIANCE 2.2 PC Distribution

  4. To install RADIANCE, create a directory for radiance, eg c:\ray
  5. then type:
  6.  
  7. pkunzip -d radbin22.zip c:\ray   (same procedure for the other zips).
  8.  
  9. Files in the set:
  10. radbin22.zip  required
  11. raddoc22.zip  most necessary
  12. radlib22.zip  required
  13. radobj22.zip  required
  14. radscn22.zip  nice to have
  15. radsrc22.zip  optional
  16.  
  17. The entire distribution occupies approximately 8 Megabytes of disk space.

  19. Add the following to your autoexec.bat:
  20.  
  21. SET RAYPATH=.;c:\ray\lib
  22. SET DOS4G=quiet
  23.

  25. to use pkunzip instead of unpkg. (This saved a megabyte of extra downloading!)  
  26. Some scene descriptions have been added too, together with the all-important
  27. documentation and miscellaneous info.
