  2.             Welcome to QuikDial Pro

  4.      QuikDial Pro is a shareware program that automatically dials
  5. telephone numbers from a user-specified directory using the modem
  6. on your PC.  With a professional three-dimensional interface,
  7. QuickDial Pro can dial from either its window or its icon.  Featuring
  8. popular options like "Always on Top", "Minimize on Use", "Hot Caption",
  9. and a button bar with descriptive icons, QuikDial Pro is ideal for
  10. automating voice telephone calls while working at your PC.  Its use
  11. of minimal resources allows you to keep it on the desktop at all times!

  13.             System Requirements

  15.     A 386 or 486-based PC with a hard drive, Windows 3.1 or higher,
  16.  MS-DOS 3.3 or higher, a VGA or better color monitor, and a mouse
  17.     A Hayes-compatible modem attached to your PC and a touch-tone
  18.  telephone sharing the modem
  19.     Visual Basic 3.0 run-time module, VBRUN300.DLL, available
  20. on CompuServe and most BBSs, in your Windows system subdirectory.

  22.         Compatibility with Earlier Versions
  23.  
  24.      The QuikDial Pro dialing directory is compatible with earlier
  25. programs by the same developer, distributed as QuikDial 2.0 and other
  26. titles.  Simply rename the dialing directory from the previous program
  27. to QUIKDIAL.DIR.

  36.     READ_ME!.TXT - This text file containing last-minute
  37.                        information and installation instructions
  38.     MSCOMM.VBX - A support file needed by QuikDial Pro's communications
  39.                      interface
  40.     SS3D2.VBX - A support file needed for QuikDial Pro's dialing
  41.                     directory
  42.     SBCEASY.VBX - A support file used by QuikDial Pro's menu system
  43.     THREED.VBX - A support file needed for QuikDial Pro's
  44.                      three-dimensional  interface
  45.     DWSPYDLL.DLL - A support file that works with SBCEASY.VBX

  47.             Installing QuikDial Pro
  48.  
  49.     All above files ending with VBX and DLL should be copied to
  50. your Windows system subdirectory.  All other files should be copied
  51. to a single directory reserved for the QuikDial Pro files, for
  52. example, C:\QUIKDIAL.

  54.     In addition to the above files, you must have the Visual Basic
  55. 3.0 run-time module VBRUN300.DLL in your Windows system subdirectory.
