  2. Thank  you  for  your  interest in  DynaComm  Communications
  3. software.  Enclosed is a working model of Terminal Plus.  It
  4. is  a fully functional copy of the software, except for  the
  5. following  limitations:  (1) The working model  will  remain
  6. connected  to  a  remote service or  host  for  only  thirty
  7. minutes at a time.  (2) It will not transfer a file which is
  8. larger than 100K.

  42.                   Terminal Plus Quick Start
  43.                         Installation
  44.  
  45. To install Terminal Plus, follow these quick and easy steps.
  46. Approximately two megabytes of disk space are  required  for
  47. installation.
  48.  
  49. 1. Start Windows.
  50. 2. Insert the Terminal Plus disk into the floppy drive (for
  51.    those of you who downloaded the Terminal Plus working
  52.    model, you will need to unzip all three files,
  53.    TPLUS_1.ZIP, TPLUS_2.ZIP and TPLUS_3.ZIP into a
  54.    directory or on a floppy)..
  55. 3. From  the  Program  Manager, select the  File  menu,  and
  56.    choose the Run option [Alt]+[f],[r].
  57. 4. Type  the  drive name (or hard disk directory), a  colon,
  58.    and   SETUP   in  the  dialog  box  (e.g.,   a:setup   or
  59.    c:\dir\setup), and click "OK".
  60. 5. Type  the  path  name  of where you  want  Terminal  Plus
  61.    installed,  or select "OK" if you wish for Terminal  Plus
  62.    to be installed in C:\TERMPLUS.
  63. 6. Select "OK", and the default selections will install  ALL
  64.    the  Terminal  Plus  files.  (You  are  not  required  to
  65.    install all the files.)
  66. 7. Setup  displays a gauge which indicates the  progress  of
  67.    the  installation and will ask for an additional disk  if
  68.    necessary.
  69. 8.    After  a  successful installation, the  Terminal  Plus
  70.    window will appear on the screen.
  71. 9. Configure your communications parameters.  Designate  the
  72.    communications  port  to  which your  modem  is  attached
  73.    (your  choices are None, or COM 1,2,3,4), and then  click
  74.    "OK".
  75. 10.Choose  the  default  modem speed to  be  used  with  the
  76.    communications port, and click "OK".
  77. 11.Select  the  appropriate  default  modem  from  the  list
  78.    presented, and click "OK".
  79. 12.After  you select your default modem, Setup asks  whether
  80.    it  should test your modem.  Select "Yes", if your  modem
  81.    is  connected to the communications port and is  on.   If
  82.    your  modem is not presently connected, you may  run  the
  83.    Setup  script again from the toolbar after your modem  is
  84.    connected.
  85. 13.Next,  Setup  presents  a few more  options.   Afterward,
  86.    Setup  offers  a  tutorial on how to use  Terminal  Plus.
  87.    Click  "Yes"  for  the  Tutorial,  or  "No"  to  exit  to
  88.    Terminal Plus.
