  1. PAGEMASTER - THE COMPLETE PAGING SOLUTION

  5. INSTALLATION OVERVIEW
  6.  
  7. The setup program provided by PageMaster installs all the 
  8. necessary components.  A program group will also be created from 
  9. which you can launch the application.
  10.  
  11. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
  12.  
  13. For extensive help on any of the dialog boxes presented by the 
  14. Setup program during installation, press the F1 key or choose the 
  15. Help button in the dialog box.
  16.  
  17. To run Setup for installation of WireTap
  18.  
  19. 1.  If Windows is not already running, follow the procedure for 
  20.     starting Windows.  
  21. 2.  From the File Menu in the Program Manager, choose Run.  In 
  22.     the Command Line box, type the drive letter and path to the 
  23.     location of the PageMaster files, followed by \SETUP.  For 
  24.     example, "G:\DOWNLOADS\SETUP".
  25. 3.  Choose the OK button or press ENTER.

  27. THE INSTALLATION PROCESS
  28.  
  29. There are four steps to the installation process.  The Setup 
  30. program does the following:
  31.  
  32. 1. Asks you where to install PageMaster.  Its default location is
  33.    the C:\PAGEMSTR directory.  If this directory doesn't exist, 
  34.    Setup will create it for you.
  35. 2. Installs the PageMaster program files.
  36. 3. Creates a Program Group entitled "PageMaster" and places it in
  37.    the Program Manager window.
  38. 4. Notifies you that setup is complete.

  40. VERSION CHANGES

  42. The following changes were made from previous versions of the
  43. software:

  47. o Added DDE support for paging and adding new pagers.
  48. o Added a find feature that searches the pager list.
  49. o Allowed multiple pagers to receive call monitor and Schedule+
  50.   pages.
  51. o Added an import pager data function.
  52. o Added the ability to log pages to a text file.
  53. o Fixed a bug where the dialing prefix digit was not used for
  54.   dialing either of the two voice numbers.
