  4. On the very first line of your message, you need to type the following 
  5. information.

  7. Type "To: " exactly like that, then the numerical address of the Compuserve
  8. recipient of your message.  At the end of the numerical address, you must 
  9. then type "@compuserve.com".  You must hit the carriage return twice after 
  10. the address, so that the routing software is able to correctly identify 
  11. the proper address to use.

  13. This is an example of an address to use.  This is not a real address.

  17. Translate the Compuserve numerical address into the above line, and your 
  18. message will be sent properly.
